'There you are,Kopa' a soft voice said called from above him, His eyes shot up the stone wall of PrideRock, He swallowed hard, and blinked,making the tears resting in this eyes fall down is soft furry cheeks. 'Mommy!' Nala could just make out her son,in the growing darkness,She smiled 'where have you been? Your Father is going mad with worry..' 'Mommy.Mommy Get me up there quick!' he said heavily,he looked around him,his eyes darting about the now blurred darkness,He couldn't see her..But she was close.
Nala laughed and bent over the stone,she picked the cub up by the scruff of his neck and pulled him up, She dropped him down in front of her,She could see him better in the faint moonlight, He looked up at her,Scared and tearful,he ran in-between her front paws 'Can we go inside,Please? Where's Dad? Where's Zira,she's not inside is she?'He layed close to the ground,shaken. His mother nuzzled him,and picked him up again. Once inside she put her son down-and asked him what was wrong.
Kopa sighed, 'Zira she attacked me,Momma,She told me Dad wanted to show me something in the gorge, and she told me to run. She told me that she was going to hurt, me,hurt me for Great Uncle Scar' Nala could no longer breathe. Zira has tried to kill her cub..For Scar? She looked across to a sleeping lioness 'Tama' the lioness stirred 'My Queen?'
'Fined Simba, I want Kula to get me Mheetu. Rally the other Lionesses,Fined Zira- Tell Simba,She just attempted to attack Kopa..For Scar' The lionesses' eyes narrowed 'Yes,My Queen'
Kopa nuzzled his mother.Nala nuzzled her son back,'Mheetu is coming-I want you to go with Mheetu for a while..' 'No Mommy! I dont want to be away from you,Dad, Nor Nuka or Vitani.! Why do i have to leave?!' He cubs voice broke,he had a lump in his throat-He has hurting,Nala heard the hurt in her cub's voice, it broke her heart,She felt a tear escape her eye.
'It dangerous here my child,Listen to me Kopa,I want you to go,Far away with my brother. Far away'
